It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Alentejo Coast, especially for its dark color (black shale layers) and the shape of its cliffs. Almograve has two distinct areas: the rocky and rocky beach (to the south) and the sandy beach against the dunes (to the north, next to the car park and the main road).
