A year later, Beatriz Gosto brought “Resort” back to the stage where it debuted for two unique performances on the 23rd and 24th of January.
After two years of pandemic. Of love and love. Going into debt to fulfil your dream of owning your own home. To bear and give birth to a child. To become a solo mother, independent worker and in the culture sector. To rebuild self-esteem, go back to the gym and get silicone breasts. Surviving sleep deprivation, nursery school viruses and the toxicity of social media. Beatriz Gosto needed to stop. Vacation? Retreat? Escapism? RESORT can be all that and burnout in just an hour or so of the show. Always in that tenuous balance between laughing nervously and laughing until it drips onto your underwear. There is only one certainty: you will lose your mind!
Beatriz Gosto needs no introduction, after coming to life through a video blog in 2015, she reached a prominent place in the digital environment, quickly leaping radio and television. She achieved great notoriety among the public and managed to win the hearts of several generations with her unique way of being and approaching even the most sensitive subjects. In 2019 Beatriz Gosto took to the stage for the first time, also at Teatro Villaret, with the show QUEM ACREDITA VAI in successive sold-out performances. An immediate success that took her to travel across the country from north to south, establishing her as one of the main voices of the new generation of Portuguese comedians.
