Ricardo dos Santos breaks Portugal record in the 400 meters
Ricardo dos Santos was in evidence at the Meeting in Ostrava, on an indoor track (R. Checa), when he broke Portugal’s record of 400 meters, with the mark of 46.64 seconds.
The Portuguese athlete took advantage of his inclusion in the main series of 400 meters, to cut the goal with the mark of 46.64 seconds, improving by one-tenth the previous record (46.74), which belonged to Raidel Acea since 8 February 2019 (Madrid).
Ricardo dos Santos, who was second behind the Czech Pavel Maslak (46.22), confirms the qualification and reference marks for the European Indoor Track that will be held in Torun (Poland), in March.
