Microsoft Portugal announces the appointment of Ricardo Pires Silva to the Executive Director of Sales of Cloud Solutions, a role previously performed by Pedro Borges, who now assumes a role at Microsoft Western Europe.
With over 20 years of experience, Ricardo Pires Silva will be responsible for leading a team of highly specialized salespeople and technicians, and for driving the digital transformation of Microsoft Portugal customers, in line with their needs, in the various solution areas.
Before joining Microsoft Portugal, the person in charge worked at SAS Portugal where he assumed the position of Executive Director, and also adds to his curriculum the experience at Novabase, GE Capital and Unisys.

Ricardo Pires Silva has a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an Executive Master in Sales Management from INDEG/ISCTE.
