The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel has in progress, until the end of October, the nomination phase of the “Youth Awards” 2020.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]n initiative that culminates on the 28th of November with the Award Gala for young people from São Paulo that have excelled in the most diverse areas at local, regional, national and even international levels. A gala that is the height of a process that involves the community that nominates and rewards the young people that it considers to deserve this recognition.
The attribution of the Youth Awards is an initiative carried out since 2004, every two years, aimed at young people from 15 to 35 years old, which seeks to value young generations and encourage the adoption of enriching attitudes of the human person. For this reason, the demonstrated skills and talent are valued, but also a set of values, such as persistence and dedication, tenacity and courage, altruism and solidarity, healthy youth, capable of building a more just society, more inclusive and happier.
The rules of this edition were unanimously approved at a Chamber meeting held on October 13.
