The renowned German composer, director and music producer Sven Helbig came to Lisbon from Misty Fest, Uguru, for another unique concert where he presented his latest work, Skills.
Sven Helbig is known for his versatile work, ranging from orchestral and chamber music to experimental electronic soundscapes. Has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Rammstein, Pet Shop Boys, Snoop Dogg and many others.
His works have been by artists such as the Fauré Quartett (BBC Singers), the cellist Jan Vogler, the conductor Kristjan Järvi and the pianist Olga Scheps. Groups that have performed his music include the London Contemporary Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
His music is often characterized by its dark and atmospheric quality and innovative use of technology, with work published on reference labels such as Deutsche Grammophon.
Helbig has composed numerous works for orchestras and chamber ensembles, often exploring themes such as darkness, mystery and the human condition. He also experimented with electronic music, creating scary and atmospheric soundscapes.
Helbig also composed music for several films and documentaries, adding depth and emotion to the visual narrative. In Lisbon, he presented Skills, his latest work. Another excellent concert with signature Uguru, in this festival, unique Misty Fest.
