The Fundação da Juventude, in partnership with the EDP Foundation, launches a new edition of the PEMAAT – Internship Program at MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology), in Lisbon. These internships, which last six months, are paid and are aimed at young university students between the ages of 18 and 25. Applications can be made through the Youth Foundation website and are open until the 26th of September.
For this work experience in one of the main Portuguese museums, students (undergraduate, masters or postgraduate) in the areas of Science (Environment, Electricity, Electronics, Energy, Physics and Chemistry) or Arts (Architecture, Multimedia Art) can apply , Plastic Arts, Art and Heritage Sciences, Cultural Communication, Artistic Studies, Art History, Museology, Cultural Production and Management), preferably residing in the Lisbon area.
With a duration of six months, these internships are remunerated with a stipend – worth 5 euros per hour – and food subsidy. The minimum weekly availability for the internship is 13 and a half hours and the schedule of each of the university students is programmed in such a way as to allow conciliation with their academic activities.
In addition to this internship program, the Youth Foundation also has applications open for PEJENE – Internship Program for University Students, an initiative that is now 31 years old. This short-term internship program (2 to 3 months) is open to university students from all academic areas and across the country, with more than 100 companies available to welcome those who are often their first experiences in the job market. work. These internships are supported with a food and transport subsidy, with the option of awarding a scholarship at the discretion of each host institution.
