Marinha Grande will have Paulo de Carvalho’s online concert
From the program, which will be broadcast in digital format, there will be messages from health professionals, homes and security forces about 25 de Abril, songs by Zeca Afonso and an exclusive concert by Paulo de Carvalho.
The celebration begins on the 24th, at 22:35, with a performance by Taramela-Música Raiz Popular, with themes alluding to the musician José Afonso.
This is followed by the exclusive concert accompanied by the piano by Paulo de Carvalho, the interpretation of the theme “Grândola”, by the Youth Choir of the Marinha Grande School Group and guests, with online guidance by João Pereira, and the interpretation of the National Anthem, by Sónia Santos.
Cidália Ferreira will speak at 00:00, followed by the exhibition of RTP videos on the 25th of April in Marinha Grande.
On the 25th, there will be a broadcast of the session of the Municipal Assembly evocative of the 25th of April, with speeches by the President of the Municipal Assembly, the Mayor and the political forces with seats in that body.
The Municipality of Marinha Grande also joins the call of Associação 25 de Abril for everyone to sing “Grândola Vila Morena” and the National Anthem, from the windows of their house.
At 16:00, the concert by Paulo de Carvalho, recorded exclusively in Marinha Grande, takes place.
