OutSystems accelerates the digitization of CDI Portugal with technological partnership
OutSystems, a leader in the market for platforms for rapid application development, has just announced a technological partnership with CDI Portugal, responsible for Apps for Good Portugal, which will speed up the digitization of this technological educational program in which young people create applications for solve social problems.
With the realization of this partnership, OutSystems technology was the pillar for the development of the new technological platform, through which teachers, students, and experts put into practice the internationally recognized program and leader in the digital inclusion of students and teachers and in contributing to the evolution of the current educational model.

“For AB Consulting, participating in a program and organization of this nature, was a challenge that we took with great pride. Developing the Apps for Good platform in record time, which allows teachers to create their work environment and collaboration with their teams, was only possible through the use of OutSystems technology”, says Nuno Dias, Delivery Manager at AB Consulting.
Through this platform, which can be applied to other countries where Apps for Good is present, teachers (from all subject areas) and students will have access to online content with a five-step design methodology. In addition to the various courses available, it will also be possible to invite students and teachers to create teams, share files and messages, among other features. To support the development of this program, participants will also have access to a network of experts (Experts) who connect online, to provide all support to clarify doubts.
Thus, OutSystems joins the CDI Portugal network of partners and, in this way, will disclose its mission not only to the student community, but also to the national and international companies and institutional entities that accompany the programs and projects of this institution. non-governmental organization.
CDI Portugal is responsible for Apps for Good, a program that aims to captivate young people (between 10 and 18 years old) and teachers to use technology as a way to solve their problems, proposing a new, more intuitive, collaborative and practical educational model, but also responsible for Switch to Innovation, and for other projects that aim at social and digital inclusion and innovation.
Remember that Apps for Good Portugal recently received the UNESCO Award – Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum for Good Practices and Exemplary Performance in Improving Teacher Efficiency. UNESCO has internationally recognized the innovative approach of Apps for Good to improve the performance and effectiveness of teachers for quality education for all and this is the first time that Portugal has received this award.
