Fernando Pimenta wins bronze in Hungary

Portuguese canoeist Fernando Pimenta won the bronze medal in the K1 1000 World Cup Canoeing event in Szeged, Hungary.

Fernando Pimenta with a time of 3.38.94 minutes, was behind the German Jacob Schopf and Josef Dostal, gold and silver medal respectively.

He was still ahead of the current world champion and gold medalist at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Balint Kopasz.

Fernando Pimenta will participate in the K1 5,000 category tomorrow.
