‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is back on the PlayStation virtual store
More than six months after being removed from PlayStation Store, ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is back on the Sony consoles webshop and can be purchased by anyone interested.
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ hit stores in December 2020 and was embroiled in controversy for having been released in a state far short of producers’ promises and gamers’ expectations. In addition to presenting on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a graphics inferior to what had been shown by CD Projekt RED, the game also had a series of technical problems that made it unplayable for some players.
It was shortly after the release that Sony decided to remove ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ from its online store, only now allowing it to return so that it can be played by potential interested parties. Note that since then, CD Projekt RED has released multiple updates in order to fix the most serious issues and make ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ more stable.
CD Projekt RED takes advantage of the same publication to remind all holders of the PlayStation 4 version of ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ will be entitled to a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version. This next generation version is scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2021.
