Germany ties with Hungary and passes in second to the round of 16 (2-2)
Germany drew with Hungary (2-2), in the last round of Group F of the European Championship. A match played in Munich.
The Magyars were close to surprise when Szalai (11’) and Schafer (68’) put Marco Rossi’s side ahead, but Havertz (66’) and Goretzka (84’) responded with a draw and sealed the German qualification.
With this result, Germany takes second place in Group F with four points, less than France (5), ranked first, and the same as Portugal, ranked third. Hungary occupies the last position, with two points.
