Almancil will host the Iberian Festival Awards 2025
The Multiusos Pavilion 25 de Abril, in Almancil, municipality of Loulé, will host the 9th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards on March 15, 2025, an event aimed at rewarding various agents of the festival industry in the Iberian Peninsula.
Organizers, producers, artists, logistics, communication and marketing sectors, services, among others, will be recognized for their work at festivals throughout the year 2024. In addition to music festivals, finalists will include other ‘non-musical’ festivals, pre-events, venues, artists/bands, entities and photographers/videographers from both Portugal and Spain.
There are 26 categories in which awards will be given (two of them Excellence Awards); in most of these, there will be a Portuguese winner, a Spanish winner, and an Iberian winner.
During the gala, which will take place at the new Multiusos Pavilion 25 de Abril, four musical moments are scheduled. On the other hand, this initiative includes a welcome party, a lounge area and networking zone, and an afterparty where all awardees will have the opportunity to celebrate.
The event will be broadcast on TV, radio, and online. Besides being a way to distinguish the music industry and all those who are part of it, these awards aim to enhance Iberian relations.
The Iberian Festival Awards have previously taken place in cities like Lisbon, Barcelona, Vigo, Maia, and Granada, always with significant economic impact for the “Host Cities.”
Over these 9 editions, there have been more than 225 winners of these awards. More than 3,750 professionals and over 95 partners, media partners or sponsors have participated in the Iberian Festival Awards. There have been nearly 40 performances at the gala of this event, which is part of the Festival Awards Ltd. network.

Not only for the recognition it will give to our territory but for the return it will bring, both economically, in terms of hospitality, gastronomy or commerce, and in media projection, as several media outlets will be here to cover the initiative. We are, in this way, directly involved in this organization, and we will do our best to ensure that this edition is of the highest level,” said this official.
“It is with great honour that the 9th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards arrives in the Algarve, specifically in Almancil, in the municipality of Loulé. After theatres, conference centres, and iconic performance venues in the cities of Lisbon, Maia, Barcelona, Vigo, or Granada, it is now time for the Iberian festival sector (from promoter to artist) to gather in this new infrastructure and kick off the 2025 season here. We will make this a memorable edition,” says Ricardo Bramão, president of Aporfest – Portuguese Association of Music Festivals, the promoting entity of this event.
