In May 2022, singer Cristina Branco and pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva edited the album ‘Amoras uma Tarde de Outono’. The disc hits stores today in vinyl format.
Since 2000, pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva has collaborated with Cristina Branco. To celebrate this partnership, in 2022 the duo released ‘Amoras uma Tarde de Outono’, an intimate record of the work woven together over the last 20 years and which finally hits stores on vinyl (180g) this Friday, the 3rd.
In this new format, ‘Amoras uma Tarde de Outono’ is made up of 11 songs, including several unpublished tracks and some reissues. Most of the songs were written by João Paulo Esteves da Silva, but the album also features contributions from Manuela de Freitas and José Mário Branco in ‘Este Silêncio’, Santos Moreira and Linhares Barbosa in ‘Fado Menor’ and Ricardo J. Dias in ‘Uma Outra Noite’.
On the 14th of February, ‘Amoras numa Tarde de Outono’ was sold out at Teatro Sá da Bandeira, in Santarém – in a concert included in the Montepio das Vezes o Amor festival – and was also presented in December at Novo Ático (Porto).
The vinyl can be purchased at FNAC, at Cristina Branco’s official online store and at specialty stores such as Louie Louie, Tubitek, and Clube 33.
