Ben Howard, the poet in Lisbon

Coliseu dos Recreios

The British singer returned to Portugal, for concerts in Lisbon and Porto, to take us on a journey through his music.

Ben Howard went on Monday (22) to the Coliseu stage, after having sold out the room for 5 years, this time with a little less audience, he did not fail to bring all his poetry to the Lisbon room, the first part was in charge of Black Sea Dahu, who gave a great show, before the entrance of the main artist, see the article here.

With two BRIT Awards, it was with the album “Every Kingdom“ of 2011, that recognition arrived, themes like “Old Pine”, “Keep Your Head Up” and “Promise” were successes a little everywhere.

With four albums edited and a fifth on the way “Is It?”, scheduled for June, with 15 years of career, took the stage of the coliseu, as the artist described with a depressing indie-folk concert.

With the room in the deepest silence, the public seemed not to want to miss a chord or verse, themes like “Couldn’t Make It Up“, “Days of Lantana”, “Sorry Kid”, “Metaphysical Cantations” and “Walking Backwards”, took fans on a journey of poetry, at a slow and profound pace.

Ben also presented three songs from the upcoming album “Is It?”, in a concert with very little light, where there were too many moments of darkness.
