On the 11th of August, starting at 8:30 pm, there will be another walk “Rain of Stars at the Lagoa de Óbidos”, organized by Green Trekker.
The meeting point is set in front of the Merkado restaurant – in Lagoa, Bom Sucesso, Óbidos. From there, participants walk towards the ocean, up to the cliff of Rocha do Gronho, from where they will have an impressive view of the coast that stretches between Peniche and Nazaré.
Then – and always with the immense Lagoa de Óbidos as a backdrop – they head to the Ferraria pool, alternating between Praia do Bom Sucesso and the eco-track that flanks the left bank of what is the most extensive coastal lagoon system on the Portuguese coast. The return to the meeting point will be made through some patches of pine forest in the area, passing through the picturesque village of Lapinha and the various anchorages that shelter the last fishermen in the lagoon.
In total, you travel 10 kilometers. It is a route of moderate difficulty, so it is accessible to all those who are in good physical health and are used to walking.
Founded in September 2011 in Lisbon, Green Trekker was born from the dream and the desire to share with those who have a passion for Nature and all the experiences it provides and offers.
The organization advises the use of appropriate clothing and footwear for the walk. You must also bring water (at least 1.5 liters), snacks, insect repellent, flashlight or headlamp, and an individual protection kit consisting of a mask and alcohol gel.
