Católica-lisbon offers training to support women entrepreneurs and their businesses

International Women's Day

  • Women Entrepreneurship@Católica-Lisbon is the name of the initiative that aims to support female entrepreneurship, and consists of holding various workshops whose objective is to provide women entrepreneurs with the necessary tools for the success of their business;
  • March 10th, at the premises of CATÓLICA-LISBON in Lisbon, from 9 am to 4 pm;
  • Free event open to all civil society;

This initiative is a way for Universidade Católica Portuguesa to give back to civil society, sharing knowledge and, mainly, supporting women in business and female entrepreneurship.

In the week in which International Women’s Day is celebrated, the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics once again offers several free workshops aimed at women entrepreneurs who have or intend to have a business.

This initiative, part of the We@Católica-Lisbon program, will take place on the 10th of March, at the premises of CATÓLICA-LISBON, in Lisbon, from 9 am to 4 pm.

With this initiative, which is open to all civil society, the School of Economics and Management intends to provide women entrepreneurs with the necessary tools for the success of their businesses.

Therefore, and because there is still economic inequality between genders in Portugal, this initiative is aimed at all women who have just launched or are thinking of launching their businesses. Around 500 female entrepreneurs are expected to attend this edition of Women Entrepreneurship@Católica-Lisbon.

The event consists of workshops, lasting 1h15m each, on important topics for building a business: “How to develop a Business Plan?”; “How do I manage my business financially? (Finance Doctor)”, “How to communicate your business?”, “How to manage a negotiation”; “How can social networks leverage your business?”, “How to use management indicators to manage the business?”, “I’m Remarkable (Google)”.

It is intended that these workshops have a strong practical component, as the main objective is for participants to learn something very concrete that they can immediately put into practice.

The program, despite being aimed at women entrepreneurs, is open to the entire civil society.

Registration is open at WE@CATÓLICA-LISBON | CATÓLICA-LISBON (ucp.pt)
