[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]he Portuguese cinema, will be present with 18 films between short films and feature films, premieres and repositions, such as “Diamantino “by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt,” Snu “by Patrícia Sequeira,” Gabriel “by Nuno Bernardo,” Until the porno separates us,” by Jorge Pelicano and “Hotel Império“, a feature film by Ivo M. Ferreira, which opens Thursday
In partnership with the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, award-winning films will be screened with the Sophia Prizes, such as “Raiva” by Sérgio Trefaut, “The Labyrinth of Saudade” by Miguel Gonçalves Mendes, “Cabaret Maxime” by Bruno de Almeida, or “Parque Mayer” by António-Pedro Vasconcelos.
Of the short films, we highlight: “Kids Sapiens Sapiens” by António Aleixo, “Sleepwalk” by Filipe Melo, “Entre Sombras” by Mónica Santos and Alice Guimarães, and “Terra Ardida” by Francisco Romão.
But this year we will have a second edition, in the fall, with a date to announce.
