North Festival wants to raise the temperature of Parque de Serralves and, as such, has just announced three new big names in Brazilian music. Claudia Leitte, Bell Marques and the group Menos é Mais are the first artists confirmed for the third and final day of the Festival, May 26th. In addition to the names already confirmed, many new features are planned, which will enhance the experience of festival-goers on a night marked by hot rhythms and strong beats.
On a day fully thought out and dedicated to musical richness and diversity, the artists already confirmed on what will be the last day of the Festival will be the central characters of the party that will bring to the North Festival the energy and joy of Carnival, the most emblematic party in the lands of Vera Cruz. The carnival atmosphere will merge with the engaging rhythms and infectious beats, transforming the month of May into an extension of this festivity, which promises to become an unmissable experience for the public.
Claudia Leitte: Charisma and energy on stage
Claudia Leitte, one of the most charismatic artists on the Brazilian music scene, is known for her contagious energy and unique presence on stage. With a brilliant career that spans more than two decades, Claudia Leitte has won millions of fans around the world through hits such as “Lagardinho” and “Baldin de Gelo”, which have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams on digital platforms.
The Brazilian singer has already taken her talent across borders, performing twice during halftime of an NBA game, at the invitation of the Orlando Magic team, to celebrate the Brazilian community living in the American city. Furthermore, her participation in the official song of the 2014 World Cup, “We Are One (Ole Ola)”, alongside Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez, showed the world the contagious power of Brazilian music.
Bell Marques: The largest electric trio puller in Brazil
Bell Marques, considered the greatest electric trio player in Brazil and a living axé legend, has a career that transcends generations, spans decades and continues to enchant crowds. It was with Chiclete com Banana, one of the main bands of the Salvador Carnival, that Bell Marques debuted. After leaving in 2013, the Brazilian singer decided to perform solo and now promises to present the North Festival audience with unforgettable hits such as “Diga que valeu” and “Voa Voa”.
Grupo Menos é Mais: “Churrasquinho” is a success story
The group Menos é Mais, known for its pagoda rhythms, quickly won over the public. With hits like “Adorei” and “Lapada dela”, they reached significant numbers on digital platforms with millions of streams. On YouTube, the “Barbecue” format is a success with more than a billion views. The concept, which has already toured Brazil, consists of several hours of show, on a 360º stage, involving the public in a samba circle, marked by a festive and authentic atmosphere.
To complete the musical diversity, the North Festival lineup also features Puerto Rican singer Myke Towers, the headliner on the first day, May 24th, as well as Keane and Tom Odell, who will perform on the second day of the festival, May 25th. Tickets for North Festival 2024 are now available at BOL. The general pass for the three days, in limited pre-sale, has a special price of 99 euros. Daily tickets cost 55 euros and a daily ticket for the VIP Zone costs 150 euros.
