The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, in France, will have in competition the films ‘Tio Tomás, a Contabilidade dos Dias‘, by Regina Pessoa, and ‘Invisible Hero‘, by Cristèle Alves Meira.
[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]he film ‘Tio Tomás, a Contabilidade dos Dias‘, which has already received several international awards, among them in Annecy, also in France, and an Annie, in the United States, best short film. He was also a finalist in the Oscar nomination.
This co-production between Portugal, Canada and France, will compete in the national competition of the festival.
The film ‘Invisible Hero‘ made by the Portuguese-French Cristèle Alves Meira, will compete in the international competition of the festival.
Extra-competition will be shown the film ‘Entre Sombras‘, by Mónica Santos and Alice Eça Guimarães.
The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival will run until February 8, and has yet another Portuguese participation since the graphic image of the festival is by the Portuguese illustrator Susa Monteiro.
