Ela Mar presents “The Boy I Used to Know” in acoustic version

Ela Mar is the artistic alter-ego of Daniela Martins, a young singer and songwriter born in London, with a Portuguese family.

Born on November 20, 2001, she studied in England and from a young age showed a particular aptitude for music and writing songs “When I was little, in my house, every day there was music playing and I sang and danced. Especially with my father, so I’ve always liked music”, explains Ela Mar. This love of music led her to join the choir at the “Notre Dame” girls’ school. However, she graduated in Management.

“The Boy I Used to Know”, is his first single co-written by Zé Manel. (Fingertips and Darko) The theme was produced by Beatoven (in the original version edited on September 19, 2022) and talks about the distance between a perfect lie and a sad horizon. In this acoustic version, Ela Mar is accompanied on guitar by musician William Fonseca. In a video recorded live at the Tiago Pires Music Academy.

The artist is now preparing to release her debut EP, scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
