Annual event ‘Google I/O’ is 100% virtual
Google has announced that its annual event dedicated to the developer community, I/O, will be 100% virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite this, Google still invites interested parties to register for the event for free, promising conferences on the company’s next products and ‘workshops’ focused on the tools of developers.
It is highly likely that it will be at this event that Google will present the first official details of the next version of the mobile operating system, Android 12.
Google I/O will take place between the 18th and the 20th of May.
