FC Porto beat Sporting, this Saturday, in Lisbon, by 7-3, in a game counting for the 18th round of the roller hockey championship.
In the game that took place at Pavilhão João Rocha, the white and blues early opened the scoring, at eight minutes, Carlo Di Benedetto, for FC Porto, but Sporting at 11 minutes would draw again by Gonzalo Romero.
The match was well contested, at this stage of the game, with Telmo Pinto giving Porto the lead in the 13th minute, and Toni Pérez restoring equality to 2 goals again.
But Porto, but strong, still scored three more goals in the first, by Rafa in the 14′, Telmo Pinto in the 20′ and Carlo Di Benedetto in the 22′, with Porto going out to halftime winning 5-2.
The second half was more of the same, with Xavi Barroso in the 39′ and Ezequiel Mena in the 43′ increasing Porto’s lead, with Sporting only scoring one more goal until the end by Romero, in the 48′, establishing the final result of 3-7.
FC Porto now has 46 points, while Sporting, second, maintains 41 points.
