Porto Book Fair received 50 thousand visits on the opening weekend
On the opening weekend, almost 50 thousand people passed through the Porto Book Fair grounds – a higher number than that recorded in the same period in previous editions.
After a stimulating opening weekend, the Porto Book Fair program does not slow down and presents more than two dozen activities for everyone who chooses to visit the Palácio de Cristal Gardens during this week. Film sessions, conversations and performances starring “masters of the word” and moments for the whole family complement the discovery of proposals from the 115 publishers and bookstores that remain in the venue until September 8th.
The continuation of the tribute to Eugénio de Andrade, a conversation with the writer Dulce Maria Cardoso, book presentations (such as the “Fazer Cidade” collection), comedy and poetry sessions, and workshops for the youngest are some of the highlights of the proposals for this week.
