Fernando Pimenta and Joana Vasconcelos in the semi-finals

Fernando Pimenta and Joana Vasconcelos passed the semi-finals of the K1 races of 1,000 and 200 meters, respectively, in the World Cup in Poznan, Poland in canoeing.

[dropcap type=”background”]P[/dropcap]imenta won with the time of 3.33.112 minutes the tie comfortably, beating Lars Magne Ullvang by 0.756 seconds and Rafal Rosolski by 1.236 seconds.

Joana Vasconcelos finished third in the K1 200 qualifying round and qualified for the semi-finals, took the course in 43.222 seconds, was beaten by Mariia Skoryk and Marharyta Makhneva was second.
