The Contrasta Festival is back in Valença on the 12th and 13th of July. Here is the complete poster for the third edition of Festival Contrasta.
MANU CHAO | Charismatic musician, known for his musical diversity, mixes influences from alternative rock, reggae and punk rock.
RICHIE CAMPBELL | Recognized as the first internet musical phenomenon in Portugal to have success on a national and international scale, leader of the new generation of Portuguese artists.
MANEL CRUZ | Ornatos Violeta, Foge Foge Bandido, Pluto and Supernada are projects that marked the last decades of Portuguese music and that have in common Manel Cruz’s midas touch. This year, after a creative hiatus, the musician is returning to the stage to present new songs and recover themes from his discography, now revisited solo and in an intimate format.
YANG | With two albums under his belt, Yang has been building a remarkable, albeit discreet, path on the increasingly broader national map of rhymes and beats. YANG is the prototype of an artist born in an era in which the boundaries between musical genres are increasingly blurred and what matters is the best mix that each one can create.
DJ CAROLINA TORRES | Whether in front of the cameras or on stage, Carolina Torres is an unmissable name in entertainment over the last decade. Of the many epithets and roles with which we could try to describe her – singer, actress, DJ, presenter, producer – nothing sums up Carolina better than the following 3 words: talent, grace, creativity.
DJ ALEX MOON | He brings to the public proposals filled with rhythms that make us travel through very unique sounds. From Mali to Congo, with stops in Cape Verde and immersions in the Sahara desert, this sound journey won’t leave anyone standing still!
Tickets for the Contrasta Festival are limited and are available at bol.pt and at the usual places (Fnac, CTT, El Corte Inglés, Tourist Office and Valença Municipal Library).
