Festival F returns to Faro for its 9th edition, with tickets on sale on Friday
Festival F celebrates its 9th edition in the historic centre of Faro and once again crosses the walls of Vila Adentro to the banks of the Ria Formosa, where it has expanded in recent editions.
Carolina Deslandes, Ivandro, Nininho Vaz Maia, T-Rex, Dillaz, Tiago Bettencourt, Marisa Liz, Carminho, Resistência, Van Zee, Capitão Fausto c/ Orquestra do Algarve and Karetus are just some of the many important names in Portuguese music that you will see being able to see it live at Festival F.
This year’s festival has 9 stages, to provide a diverse and continuous musical experience for all tastes and audiences, in what is one of the main celebrations of the year of Portuguese music.
On the Sagres Stage (Ria), names like Carolina Deslandes, Ivandro, Nininho Vaz Maia, Marisa Liz, Dillaz, T-Rex and Drenchill will perform. The Grupo Timing Stage (Sé) will feature Camané, Tiago Bettencourt and The Legendary Tigerman. The Bandida do Pomar Stage (Quintalão) features artists from the new generation. Among the talents who will perform are Ana Lua Caiano, Filipe Karlsson and Milhanas, who promise authentic and exciting performances, in a place of worship for festival-goers who annually invade the historic center of Faro. The Carby Stage (Teaching) is in charge of artists such as Pikika, Putzgrilla and Maquina, among others. On the Museu Stage (Museu), Inês Só, Emmy Curl and Filipa Vieira will be some of the talents that will prove that Portuguese music breathes good health and on the Castelo Stage (Castelo) Azart, B Fachada and LUM, will create a unique atmosphere with unforgettable performances.
The last major summer festival takes place in Faro and presents dynamic spaces, which include music, performing arts, an author market, exhibitions and gatherings. This year there is also a samba circle over the 3 days.
Tickets are available for pre-sale from Friday (19th) until July 30th on the Ticketline website and at the usual locations. Until this date, there will be 1000 tickets with a special price of €20 for a daily ticket and €45 for a general 3-day pass. From July 30th, or from the total sale of this promotional lot, the daily ticket will cost €22 and the general pass €54.

Festival F is the result of joint work between the Municipality of Faro, Sons em Trânsito, Teatro das Figuras and Ambifaro.
