The Fado Festival returns in 2023 with 17 planned destinations, the largest number ever, and ends and announces the return to Barcelona.
The Barcelona Fado Festival takes place this year on the 16th and 17th of September at the Center Artesà Tradicunàrius and Paral-Lel 62 with the presence of the duo Ângelo Freire and Luís Guerreiro on the Portuguese Guitar on the 16th of September and the following day will be in charge of Raquel Tavares for a great concert.
The Barcelona Fado Festival in this edition will dedicate its programming to the Portuguese guitar, a fundamental instrument of Portuguese music and culture. Both the concerts and the rest of the program will be focused on disseminating his legacy and throughout the day you can visit the exhibition “Fado and the Portuguese Guitar” created by the Fado Museum and EGEAC.
