First flight on Mars was postponed
NASA decided to postpone Ingenuity’s first Mars flight after finding a small error in the flight control software. The US space agency said it would announce a new date for the maiden flight next week.
NASA found this error in the software of the small helicopter after carrying out several tests on the equipment’s systems. It was believed that the first flight would take place last Monday, the 12th, but the software problems forced NASA to postpone the occasion until this Wednesday, the 14th.
It seems that the preparations for the first flight of Ingenuity have not yet been completed, noting that NASA does not intend to take any risks.
