Flor debuts in Portugal
Seu Jorge's daughter will be in Porto, Lisbon, Loulé, and Coimbra
Flor, one of the new names in Brazilian music, is in Portugal.
The first show of this Portuguese tour was last Sunday at Festa do Socorro in Funchal. On the mainland, Flor will perform at Plano B (Porto) on October 10th, and the following day she will perform at another edition of MIL, playing at Casa Capitão. On the evening of the 12th, the chosen city is Loulé, more specifically at Cine Teatro Louletano. The tour of our country concludes on October 23rd as part of the MATE Festival in Coimbra.
About Flor
Flor, stage name Flor Jorge, is a singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, born in Rio de Janeiro, where she was inspired by Brazilian music from a young age. Daughter of artist Seu Jorge, she moved to the United States at the age of 10, where she grew up writing songs of different styles. Her lyrics transition seamlessly between Portuguese and English, harmoniously revealing her multicultural experience.
Her artistic identity is marked by a unique sound that blends influences from Black American and Brazilian music—from pop to MPB, R&B and hip-hop, and from jazz to bossa nova.
At 22, Flor released her first original EP, “Prima,” in 2024 and has already released five other singles (“Sapiens,” “Macumbeira,” and “Chega no Céu”), as well as notable collaborations: the feat. “Pra Melhorar” with Marisa Monte and Seu Jorge—composed by Flor at age 12, released on Marisa’s most recent album—and two collaborations released in 2025 with Ale Araya (“A LA MISMA VEZ”) and AYUSH (“Save Your Breath”).
Flor recently performed as the official artist at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, with three shows at Casa São Paulo, Flamingo Cantina, and Rivian Stage Park. She has also performed at venues such as the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, Vibra in São Paulo, The Residence in Los Angeles, and the iconic Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro. She also performed at the Rock the Mountain Festival in Rio de Janeiro and the Nômade Festival in São Paulo.
