Frederico Silva loses and fails access to the main Wimbledon board
Frederico Silva failed, this Thursday, access to the main singles table of the Wimbledon tournament.
In the third and final qualifying round, the 26-year-old Portuguese, number 176 in the world, gave way to Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, 119th in the ATP hierarchy, after four sets, by the partial of 7-6 (7/4), 4-6, 4-6 and 5-7, at 2:55.
Frederico Silva was thus just one triumph away from joining João Sousa and Pedro Sousa in the Wimbledon tournament, which will take place at the All England Club, between June 28th and July 11th.
