Josep Garcia wins second day of Marco de Canaveses Enduro
The Spanish Josep Garcia (KTM) won, this Sunday, the second day of the Enduro of Marco de Canaveses, the third punctuated race for the World Championship of the specialty.
[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ith 99 riders on a journey marked by rain and mud, Garcia completed the nine specials of the day with a time of 58.11.95 minutes, leaving second-placed British Brad Freeman (Beta) at 15.26 seconds. British Steve Holcombe (Beta) was third, 31.13 seconds from the winner.
Diogo Ventura (Beta) was the best Portuguese, in 19th place, 5.26.27 minutes from the winner. The Portuguese was fifth in the E1 category, 4.15.88 minutes from the winner, the Italian Thomas Oldrati (Honda).
In the Open 2-stroke category, the victory again smiled on the Portuguese Gonçalo Reis (KTM). This time, Gonçalo Sobrosa (Beta) was ranked third.
The world-class caravan returns to Marco de Canaveses next weekend, for the fourth and final round of the Worlds.
