It was with this concept that Keller Williams’ RED Day was born, and it is also with this motto that annually the more than 1,060 market centers and 183,000 consultants worldwide leave aside their real estate mediation activities and dedicate all their time in make a difference to improve the lives of people in the communities in which they live.
In Portugal, the network will carry out actions of solidarity and social responsibility in Cascais, Oeiras, Sintra, Braga, Porto, Lisbon, Algarve and Madeira Island.
“This day is based on the belief that people can and must come together to achieve extraordinary things by helping others. RED Day is an expression of what Keller Williams culture is like in its day-to-day life: We see a need, we find out who can serve it and we do it. ” says Nuno Ascensão, CEO of Keller Williams.
Keller Williams Portugal will thus join the Caixa Solidária community initiative and will donate food and other goods in the locations where each employee lives, supporting the local community. In addition, a free holiday program for young pre-university and university students will be launched, with training to help them in their personal and career development.
These trainings are based on all the company’s accumulated learning in supporting the construction of Careers, Business and Lives of its associates, were developed within a program carried out jointly with Baylor University (Texas, USA) and are certified by Keller Williams, the largest training company in the world through its Corporate University: Keller Williams University. It will be the CEO of Keller Williams in Portugal to deliver this training.
