Kings of Convenience on the second day of CoolJazz

The Norwegian indie folk-pop duo of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe were the stars of the second day of CoolJazz, where the Golden Slumbers will also take to the stage, and the Braga quartet, FourWard, will be present in the garden auditorium.

The FourWard quartet had the task of encouraging everyone who arrived at CoolJazz, in a relaxed atmosphere, while drinking something cool on a hot afternoon in the beautiful Marechal Carmona de Cascais Park, or snacking on the various trailers available in the park.

The Golden Slumbers opened the main stage, and the sisters Cat and Margarida Falcão, took to the stage their songs about love, being a woman, and the daily life of the family and enchanted the present and arriving audience, attracted by the harmony of their songs and voice sweet.

In 2016 they presented their first album “The New Messiah” and in the meantime, they have already been present on several stages, including NOS Alive, EDP Vilar de Mouros, and Vodafone Mexefest, they also passed through the 2017 Festival da Canção with the song “Para Perto” by Samuel Úria, in 2022 released a new album “I Love You, Crystal”, songs that sang at the CoolJazz stage.

Kings Of Convenience were the stars of the night and there were many who attended the Festival to see them, with the hippodrome almost completely filling up, the group famous for its melodies on the viola and its influence of Brazilian bossa nova, and they did not disappoint, and quickly conquered the many fans, who were singing and dancing to the rhythm of the duo of Øye and Bøe, composers and interpreters of all their songs, the public stood up several times to applaud them.

They even invited the Golden Slumbers to accompany them on one of the songs, Kings of Convenience, which was founded in 2000, and which gained a very solid following all over the world and in Portugal as well.

After having been to the Lisbon and Porto coliseums in May 2022, where they presented “Peace or Love”, their latest work, published in 2021, produced over five years, and developed in five different cities, they once again dazzled at the Festival CoolJazz.
