WITH FEDERATION IN PORTO, FINTECH ebankIT AFFIRMS TO BE A DETENTATOR OF THE PORTUGUESE PLATFORM IN THE AREA OF BANKING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, WHICH IS MORE INTERNATIONALIZED, HAVING IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS IN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS OF MORE THAN 20 COUNTRIES
Kuwait International Bank (KIB), an Islamic banking institution based in Kuwait city, announced this morning the availability of an online solution for Corporate customers developed and implemented by finbank Portuguese ebankIT.
It is regulated by the Central Bank of Kuwait and listed on the Kuwaiti stock exchange. The KIB now offers online and mobile banking services for the banking and financial services dedicated to the corporate Islamic client network it owns, focusing on digital transformation banking to give shape to a strategy that goes through, through digital channels, put the customer at the center of all interactions with the bank.
“The digital platform we developed in Portugal stands out because it allows the integration of core banking by modules, which gives it versatility and the ability to adapt to the reality and specifics of different financial institutions, allowing a multi-device and multiplatform application in record time, “said Renato Oliveira, CEO of ebankIT, adding that” ebankIT holds the Portuguese digital platform in the area of digital banking transformation that has become more international, with projects implemented in banks and credit unions in more than 20 countries. ”
After launching an all-round retail solution in the KIB at the beginning of the last year, the introduction of the Corporate solution now completed by ebankIT adds new features such as management (blocking, unblocking and canceling) business users in the KIB Internet Banking, or the creation, authorization and cancellation of pending transactions, as well as account handling transactions, transfers, letters of credit, salary processing and portfolio viewing.
In terms of security, KIB’s client companies can also join the back-office by sending a two-part password – half by e-mail and half by SMS, and it is also possible, for example, to create new business users in the Internet Banking with the advantage of being able to define the functionalities to which these users will have access and the type of profile of the same ones.
In the next round of implementation to be held at KIB, still in 2019, new features will be introduced for retail and corporate customers, such as video chat and a new and improved user interface.
