Leonardo Jardim is back in Monaco
The Portuguese coach was officialized this Friday.
[dropcap type=”background”]M[/dropcap]onaco made official this Friday the return of Leonardo Jardim to the technical command of the club. As explained in a statement, the Portuguese signed a contract valid for the next two and a half seasons.
In addition, the Monegasque emblem confirmed that Thierry Henry has officially ceased his duties at the club after being suspended on Thursday.
Franck Passi, who guided the Monaco team in training this Friday, will still be in charge of the Monegasque formation at the meeting against Dijon. Only after that Leonardo Jardim and his technical team take over.
It is recalled that the Portuguese coach was dismissed by Monaco’s management in October and is now hired again to try to counter the bad results this season.
At present, the principality club is ranked 19th in Ligue 1 with 15 points. In 21 games, Monaco won only three.
