Motherhood and parenting are paths where discovery is constant. The MaPa event serves as a guide and inspirational source to make motherhood and fatherhood one of the most beautiful phases of our lives.
With the theme “Connection, strengthening bonds for a bright future”, MaPa’s main value is to invest in the family and will, through various lectures, promote awareness of family topics, such as: raising children, conscious parenting, the couple’s relationship after children, mental health and much more.
With an excellent line-up, MaPa 2024 will feature some of the most influential national and international speakers, such as: from Brazil, Marcos Piangers – “Dad is Pop”, Ana Cardoso “Mom is Rock” and Larissa Dorneles, from Sweden, Mikaela Övén and from Portugal, António Raminhos, Júlio Machado Vaz and Isabel Ferreira. The presentation and moderation will be in charge of Ricardo Couto.
The day before the event, on February 9th, a VIP dinner will be held at the Oficina do Chef Marco Gomes restaurant, for those who wish to meet and talk, in a more intimate environment with the speakers. This dinner will have as a backdrop a menu developed especially for the event, inspired by each of the speakers. Daddy is pop
Marcos Piangers has already been called a “guru” by the UOL portal and an “internet phenomenon” by the newspaper O Globo. He previously worked at Rede Globo and coordinated innovation teams in southern Brazil. He has spoken at the biggest events and companies in Brazil, and on stages in Portugal and England, in addition to being a five-time speaker at TEDx, the largest ideas conference in the world. His videos have already reached half a billion views on the internet and his talk was the best-rated for two years at the biggest digital marketing event in Latin America. He is the author of the bestseller O Papai é Pop with more than half a million copies sold in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, England and the United States and called by Portuguese magazines “the coolest father in Brazil”. He appears in the book Letter to My Young Self, alongside Paul McCartney and Jamie Oliver. In 2022, his book was released in theatres, performed by Lázaro Ramos and Paolla Oliveira and now the film PAPAI É POP is also available on Amazon Prime Video.

Mikaela Övén (Mia)
Conscious Parenting
Mikaela Övén, or Mia as she prefers to be called, is Swedish and has lived in Portugal since 2001, mother of 3 children and passionate about relationships, empathy and communication. Mia is the founder of the Conscious Parenting Academy and author of 6 books on conscious parenting, Mindfulness and personal development for adults and children published by Porto Editora. She is also the co-host of the Podcasts Inspiration for a Magical Life and The Conscious Parenting Podcast, a speaker, Mindfulness instructor and coach with a frequent presence in the media. Mia is an eternal student with numerous courses in the area of communication and relationships.
