Monteiro does not score in the first WTRC race

The pilot finished 16th place in the German

[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]iago Monteiro Honda rider finished the World Touring Car Cup – WTCR, out of the scoring places, in the first of three races of the German stage, which took place on the Nordschleife circuit.

He finished in 16th place, one of scoring in a race that Norbert Michelisz riding a Hyundai i30 won, fourth overall of the championship.

The Portuguese rider finished 292 thousandths of a second of Mehdi Bennani in Volkswagen Golf, after three laps at the Nürburgring, and 17.115 seconds behind the winner.

Starting 19th place on the grid, the second lap was already 15th but was overtaken by the Dutchman Niels Landeveld in the Audi A3.

There are still two more races from the German stage of the championship.
