Os Azeitonas celebrated their 20th anniversary of record releases in a packed Coliseu. This special show, full of memories and excellent songs, captivated everyone in attendance.
The band, comprised of Marlon, Salsa, and Nena, released their first original album, Um Tanto ao Quanto Atarantado, the one they affectionately call their “zero album,” 20 years ago. This year, the “AZ 20 ANOS” tour will celebrate their music across the country, where songs like “Miúda,” “Tonto de ti,” “Cinegirassol,” and “Aviões,” among others, will once again captivate the Portuguese audience.
The Porto Coliseum featured performances of “Sinto-me em mim” / “Zão” / “Sílvia Alberto,” “Eu vou,” “Salão América,” “Tonto de Ti,” “Guitarrista do liceu,” “Desenhos Animados,” and “Drama” accompanied by Átoa. They continued with “Três Dias de Sol,” “Oito e Meia,” and “Aviões” with guests Bruno and Miguel Araújo.
But many others wanted to share this important date with them. After “Fundo da Garrafa,” Tatanka, Miguel Araújo, and Rui Veloso shared the stage with Os Azeitonas to sing “Cantigas de Amor,” while Vaz replaced Tatanka for “Atarantado.”
“20 anos”, “Hooligan do Aleixo”, the classic “Miúda” and “Ray Lee Oh” with Gravato and Rui Pedro, the last guests closed the show, but of course the audience wanted more and Os Azeitonas returned with “Angelus” and “Ernesto”, finishing an excellent show in the mythical Porto room.
