Parcels confirmed at NOS Alive’24

Parcels are confirmed on the first day of NOS Alive’24 to perform on the Heineken Stage. The Australian quintet joins those already confirmed for this day Arcade Fire, The Smashing Pumpkins, Benjamin Clementine, Jessie Ware, Black Pumas, Nothing But Thieves, Kenya Grace and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

Tickets are available at the usual locations and nosalive.com. The FNAC NOS Alive’24 Fan Pack, an exclusive pack made with festival fans in mind, is also now on sale in FNAC stores and on fnac.pt.

Originally formed in Byron Bay, Australia in 2014, Parcels is currently based in Berlin, Germany, and the band’s lineup consists of keyboardist Louie Swain, keyboardist/guitarist Patrick Hetherington, bassist Noah Hill, drummer Anatole “Toto ” Serret and guitarist Jules Crommelin.

The band released their debut album, Parcels, in 2018 to critical acclaim, with NME describing it as “sassy, timeless and incredibly catchy” in their 5-star review. Parcels’ second studio album, Day/Night, is an ambitious work, which was widely praised by the international press, with Rolling Stone UK saying: “a brilliantly realized album, spanning several genres”, or Gigwise, who proclaimed it as “a career-defining record”.

Parcels are a formidable unit as a live band and completed their biggest tour to date last year, playing sold-out shows and festivals around the world, including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and New York’s SummerStage in Central Park. The band’s most recent UK shows were hailed as “a deft display of live mastery” in NME’s 5-star review of their Islington Academy show, adding: “You simply have to see this band live.”

On July 11th, Parcels will bring what will be one of the most anticipated concerts on the Heineken Stage, to the 16th edition of NOS Alive.
