Guided Interpretive Tours in the Óbidos Lagoon
The Defense Association of Paul de Tornada – PATO is organizing Interpretive Walks in Lagoa de Óbidos. The first one happened on July 17th, the next one will be on August 7th and the last one on September 11th.
Lagoa de Óbidos is the most extensive coastal lagoon system on the Portuguese coast and is located in the municipalities of Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos. Due to its location and size, it is an important place from an ornithological point of view. The diversity of habitats that make up the area of the Óbidos lagoon regularly makes for a great diversity of bird species.
The tour will be on foot and starts at Arelho picnic park. The activity, which will take place between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm, ends at the meeting point.
