Go discover and explore the heritage of Lisbon in a panoramic visit

European Heritage Days

As part of the European Heritage Days, the Amoreiras 360° Panoramic View, the Aqueduct of Águas Livres, and the Reservoir of Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras will open their doors for a joint visit to the three spaces. On September 20, visitors will be able to take a trip back in time and explore these places completely for free.

Starting at 4 PM and lasting 120 minutes, the panoramic visit will allow attendees to know Lisbon at 360º, through three terraces that provide three distinct views of the city.

It will begin at the National Monument Aqueduct of Águas Livres, which includes crossing the Alcântara valley and part of an underground gallery of the site; it will traverse the Amoreiras 360° Panoramic View, located 174 meters above sea level; and it will end at the Terrace of the Reservoir of Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras. The pedestrian route provides a unique opportunity to understand the urban development of the city through the perspective of water circuits and history.

By joining this initiative, the Amoreiras 360° Panoramic View aims to showcase Lisbon’s vast heritage, contributing to a closer relationship between the public, culture, and national history, by creating privileged moments of interaction rich in knowledge.

The European Heritage Days are held annually and are an initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Union, involving more than 50 countries and aiming to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding heritage. They represent the celebration of international solidarity, dialogue, and cultural diversity. Each year, each country provides a free national program of activities for the public.

The visit will take place on September 20 at 4:00 PM, in a group of 30 people. Booking for the visit is mandatory and can be made by phone at +351 218 100 215 or by email: mda.epal@adp.pt.

Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, ticket place of sale, price, and availability.
