‘Viriato no Feminino’ returns to SIC Mulher in an on tour format
The second season of ‘Viriato no Feminino’ is back on SIC Mulher, now in an on tour format. Ana Viriato, presenter and producer of the program, travels across Portugal from north to south, to continue to give voice to warrior and inspiring women. The premiere is scheduled for June 17.
After the first season that told inspiring stories of Portuguese women with prominence in different areas – Technology (Verónica Orvalho), Sports (Filipa Martins), Music (Marisa Liz), Cinema (Ana Rocha de Sousa) and Science (Ana Pires) -, the program ‘Viriato no Feminino’ returns to the SIC Mulher antenna for a second season, in a new live format, but with the same purpose: to give voice and stage to the inspiring women of Portugal.
Ana Viriato will travel the country in search of the warriors who, every day, dedicate themselves to fighting for a better world. “The objective of ‘Viriato no Feminino On Tour’ is to bring these women to the main stage, to make their dreams known and to realize what moves them.”, says the presenter who is both author and producer of the program.
As a communicator, Ana Viriato believes in the power of communication to change paradigms, to educate for tolerance, hope, solidarity, equal opportunities, keynotes of the messages that she inscribes in the program’s matrix.
“The ‘Viriato no Feminino’ is a program based on a systemic and integrated approach to gender equality issues, which aims to inspire, empower and support women, helping to break down and overcome barriers that still persist at this level.”, he stresses. Ana Viriato.
The second season of the program ‘Viriato no Feminino On Tour’ will be broadcast on Saturday mornings, on SIC Mulher, between June 17th and July 1st, and has the support of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG), the national body responsible for promoting and defending this principle.
