From Thursday, August 5th, you can visit the Torre dos Clérigos. The monument will be open for extended hours until the beginning of September, offering an unrivaled 360-degree view over Porto.
The top of the Clérigos Tower once again offers a panoramic view of the city’s night lights, with the return of the “Clérigos by Night” program, which makes it possible to visit the monument at extended hours, starting on Thursday, August 5th.
As in previous years, and until September 5th, Torre dos Clérigos will have longer hours: until 9 pm during the week, and until 11 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From the top of the 225 steps of this ex-libris of the Invicta city, the view promises to reward the effort.
The program “Clérigos by Night” started in the summer of 2015, recalls the Irmandade dos Clérigos, having become a “tradition and success, sought after both by the families of Porto and by tourists from all over the world who visit Invicta.”
“Since that time, many have been surrendered to the beauty of the colors and lights of our city – yellow, orange, red or pink, darker or lighter, are the colors that inspire the sunset. sun that from the top of the Clérigos Tower can dazzle”, the institution notes, noting that the reopening of the monument, after the period of confinement, has been accompanied by a growth in demand: “There have already been more than 100,000 visitors who have entered to get to know the Tower, the Museum and the Clérigos Church, with the domestic market and the Spanish market accounting for 50% of visitors.”
Tickets for the evening visits to Torre dos Clérigos can be purchased at the entrance to the monument, with the adult price remaining at 5 euros per person.
