Windows 11 arrives in early October
Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 will be officially released on October 5th. The new version of the operating system will be released as a free update.
Windows 11 will not be available to all computers at once, with Microsoft adopting a phased rollout strategy.
The October launch will be extended to mid-2022, so it will take a while to reach all eligible computers.
