Women’s leadership program “Women2Women” kicks off today
The initiative will last five days and will include the participation of “dozens of young people”, aged between 16 and 21 years.
Women2Women Portugal, a young female leadership program taking place in Lisbon, starts this Monday. For a week, dozens of young people will attend the event, which will include names such as Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Rosa Monteiro, journalist Catarina Rodrigues, artist Carolina Deslandes, and comedian Diogo Faro.
The goal is to train leadership development, cultural awareness, conflict resolution, and civic engagement.
Women2Women is an international women’s leadership program, organized by the NGO Empower Peace, which brings together over 100 emerging girls from around 30 countries each year in Boston, USA.
