WOW promotes Forum “Art and Culture: Feminine Plural”

On the subject of Women’s Day, which encourages equal rights between women and men, WOW promotes, on March 8, at 6 pm, the first edition of the Forum “Arte e Cultura: Feminino Plural”. In addition to the debate period, the event includes a cocktail party where all participants can continue to exchange ideas.

WOW, the cultural quarter of Gaia, promotes, on the 8th of March, at the Museu da Região do Porto, the first edition of the Forum “Arte e Cultura: Feminino Plural”.

The forum is scheduled for 6 pm when the debate will begin. After the debate period, the exchange of ideas and contacts continues, informally, during the cocktail that will be served to all participants.

Guest speakers are Joana Castro, dancer and artistic director of Kale Companhia de Dança; Maria de Fátima Lambert, Coordinating Professor of Aesthetics and Education at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto, art critic and curator; Minês Castanheira, poet and founder of the collective “Bairros dos Livros”; and Mónica Ferraz, singer, songwriter and lyricist. Moderating will be Sofia Fernandes, TVI/CNN journalist, activist for conscious and positive journalism, and winner of several awards. The dialogue will also be open to the audience, who will be able to actively participate in the forum.

The ticket for the Forum “Arte e Cultura: Feminino Plural” is available online. It costs €20 or €12 for students. It entitles you to participate in the event, the cocktail that follows it, and also a ticket to the Museum of the Porto Region to use within a period of one month, allowing for a future visit.
