Yerai Cortés is one of the most promising Spanish musicians of the new generation and a leading figure in contemporary flamenco.

In December 2024, just over a year after his solo debut with the single “Mi Jardín de Rosas,” Yerai Cortés presented the film “La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés.”

This documentary, directed by C. Tangana, who followed the Spanish musician with his camera for several months, transcended borders and was screened at several film festivals around the world. It won two 2025 Goya Awards for Best Documentary Film and Best Original Song for “Los Almendros,” a Special Jury Mention at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, and the Castillete de Oro at the Cante de las Minas International Festival. In Portugal, “La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés” was one of the most acclaimed films at the 2025 Indie Lisboa.

Along with the premiere of this documentary, the guitarist also released his first album, which reveals some of the melodies featured in the film, as well as several previously unreleased tracks. On an album full of collaborations, borrowing from songs like “POR TU SILENCIO LLORO,” “LA PLAZA ARGEL,” and “SONAR POR BULERÍAS” (the latter performed by the artist in his COLORSXSTUDIO performance), Yerai Cortés explores a new version of flamenco guitar, celebrating his cultural identity while always looking to the future.

With impressive technical virtuosity and rare emotional depth, the Spanish musician, born in Alicante, presents his live show “Guitarra Coral,” where he explores tradition and contemporaneity, memory and the present, using a classical guitar that transports us directly to the epicentre of his culture. After appearing at several festivals, including Sónar and the Montreux Jazz Festival, Yerai Cortés is coming to Portugal for the first time.

The concert is scheduled for March 19, 2026, at the Aula Magna in Lisbon. Tickets are now on sale at Feverup.com/pt, with prices ranging from €40 to €55.
