The album “Dança dos Desastrados” released in June, has been acclaimed by national and international critics. It was even considered by the platform Bandcamp, one of the best albums in recent months. Critic Dave Sumner describes the record this way “In the Dance of the Disasters, every note, every beat has a melodic perspective in mind. This is nothing new for Michelangelo. The bass player has a talent for establishing epic dialogues based on the strength and fluency of his melodic statements”.
Miguel Ângelo Quarteto is a renowned project with excellent musicians, from João Guimarães on alto saxophone, Joaquim Rodrigues on piano, Marcos Cavaleiro or Mário Costa on drums and Miguel Ângelo on double bass and composition.
The tour has the support of the Garantir Cultura Program and Antena 2.
