The Cat Empire confirmed at NOS Alive’24

The Cat Empire, Australian icons, make their debut at Passeio Marítimo de Algés on the last day of NOS Alive’24, on the Heineken Stage.

Tickets are now on sale at the usual places and nosalive.com. The FNAC NOS Alive’24 Bilhete Diário Fan Pack, an exclusive pack made with festival fans in mind, is also on sale in FNAC stores and on fnac.pt.

Australian icons, The Cat Empire, have had an illustrious career, spanning multiple decades and genres, lighting up stages worldwide with a magnetic force that has captivated millions of fans with their energetic performances accompanied by explosive sounds and visuals.
In 2023 they released Where The Angels Fall, which reached #5 in the ARIA charts, along with a series of sold-out shows in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America. Across the 14 tracks, there is a mix of international sounds and styles, including Afro-Cuban, flamenco, Brazilian, West African, reggae, New Orleans jazz, mariachi, Polynesian and reggaeton, among many others, while paying homage to their hometown, Melbourne.

Continuing the legacy and being the driving force behind the band’s new era is Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill, two of the group’s three original founding members. Exploring a sense of musical curiosity with endless possibilities, this newfound spirit further illuminates the band’s exuberant musicianship, elevating their sound and broadening their influences. On the live circuit, The Cat Empire’s new show celebrates movement, vitality and youthfulness – with a host of new songs and audience favourites.

With a history of multiple platinum albums, awards, sold-out tours and more than 250 million streams – The Cat Empire officially entered its golden age, with a live performance at NOS Alive.

In 2024, NOS Alive returns to Passeio Marítimo de Algés for its 16th edition.
